Nadine G. Gilder lives in Toms River, New Jersey and is the mother of a 18-year old autistic child who has been on a gluten- and casein-free diet for eight years. Through her company, Autism Educational Services, Nadine helps to educate parents of autistic children about the benefits of a gluten- and casein-free diet, the DAN! Protocol, Mercury Chelation, yeast overgrowth, supplements, MTP therapy and other issues related to treatments and interventions for autistic children. She also gives them practical advice on how to implement the diet, where to buy foods and where to find recipes.

Nadine has attended ten Defeat Autism Now! Conferences in the last ten years and has been listed on the Autism Research Institute’s list of Defeat Autism Now! Practitioners. She has counseled hundreds of parents of autistic children on how to implement the gluten- and casein-free diet, as well as other dietary interventions, and has worked with Defeat Autism Now! doctors nationwide.

Nadine has researched and written The Gluten- and Casein-Free Passover Guide, because during Passover a very large variety of foods become available for a short period of time. She has also written two recipe booklets called, Gluten- and Casein-Free Cooking: Recipes for Everyday Favorites and 14 Easy Gluten- and Casein-Free Recipes. She has also just produced a 30-minute audiotape entitled, How to Survive a Gluten- and Casein-Free Diet which gives parents the basic information and motivation they need to get started on the Gluten- and Casein-Free Diet.
